The meaning of Ijtema is gathering, and as such the National Ijtema of MKA Denmark is an annual gathering of Ahmadi youth between the ages of 15 and 40 for their spiritual and educational training. National Ijtema rejuvenates the spiritual zeal, enhances the religious knowledge and re-affirms the bond each khadim with Khliafat-e-Ahmadiyya. In this three-day event Ahmadi youth from across the nation come together as one body, offer prayers in congregation, take part in group discussions and have an opportunity to listen to community leaders. In the spirit of vying with each other in good works and to foster healthy competition, various educational and sports competitions are held at the Ijtema. National Ijtema is MKA’s premier event that embodies the vision of its founder who once said, “nations can not be reformed without the reformation of their youth.”
